What Color Options are Available for the Carts at UVC?

Additionally, if you have a specific hue in mind, we can customize your cart in any Pantone color for an additional charge. This flexibility allows you to match your cart perfectly with your brand or event colors, ensuring a cohesive and professional appearance.

Note: Paleta carts have a range of standard stock colors available at a slight premium.

My Cold plates are not Freezing Solid. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

The cold plates should be frozen at -10°F to -15°F for 24-48 hours the first time. Make sure there is enough space in between the cold plates for cold air to circulate. They should be frozen solid before the first use and frozen for 12 hours in between uses.

Note: Cold plates last for 6-8 hours

For domestic orders, we use Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipping, which is an economical and timely way to deliver smaller freight shipments across the country. For our overseas customers, we offer both ocean and air freight options. Ocean freight is ideal for larger, non-urgent shipments that require cost-effective transportation, while air freight is perfect for smaller, time-sensitive deliveries that need to reach their destination quickly. Standard shipping costs, which include dock delivery or delivery to the nearest FedEx Freight facility, are calculated and reflected at checkout. Please note that these costs do not include residential deliveries, lift gate services, limited access locations, or indoor deliveries, which will incur additional fees. For customers requiring these specialized delivery services, the additional costs will be itemized separately to ensure you are fully informed. For international shipments, we recommend contacting us directly to request a specific shipping quote tailored to your location and order. By addressing these details upfront, we aim to deliver a smooth and hassle-free shipping experience for all of our valued customers.

How Long Does it Take for a Cart From UVC to be Shipped and Delivered?

At UVC, we prioritize timely delivery for all our customers. Carts are shipped from our facility in Southern California. Once payment is processed, standard stock carts typically take 2-3 days to ship. After shipment, the delivery time varies based on the destination. For domestic East Coast locations, please allow 6-7 business days for transit. For domestic West Coast locations, it may take 3-4 business days. Additionally, we provide a tracking number with every order to give you the most accurate delivery date.

What Should I do if I am Not Available to Receive my Cart Delivery?

If you are not available to receive your cart delivery, it is important to call us immediately to discuss the situation and plan for a different delivery day if possible. Shipping companies usually charge a reconsignment fee for redeliveries, so notifying us as soon as possible will help avoid these additional costs. Ensure that you arrange for someone to be present at the revised scheduled time to receive the cart and prevent any inconvenience.

Important receiving instructions - if you note any damage to your shipment, take pictures and make note in order to file a claim. If there is extensive damage, REFUSE shipment, take detailed pictures of the box or crate and the damaged cart. We can only assist you if these steps are followed.
